Traci Christian is the owner of MCG Consulting Group, Inc. an independent actuarial firm located in Kansas City, Missouri. Their principals and support staff provide annual actuarial and administrative services for plan sponsors. Traci is also President and a Consulting Actuary with Etaros Actuarial Services, LLC.
Traci has over 20 years of experience in all areas of the pension industry including annual valuation and administration of private, public and multiemployer plans, plan redesign, cash balance, mergers and acquisitions, and plan terminations and conversions. Traci’s clients have ranged in size from less than 100 lives to over 100,000. These include small employers to Fortune 500 companies and state pension plans. In addition, she has also provided expert witness services to both private and public clients, pension funds and collective bargaining negotiations.
Along with actuarial consulting, Traci successfully created and developed software for pension administration and web-based benefit calculation programs for administrative as well as individual use. In 2000, Traci created a networking website for other actuaries to share educational and professional resources that has since become the most visited actuarial website on the internet today.
Traci graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics in 1990. She is an Enrolled Actuary, a Fellow to the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, a Member of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
